1. Subscription Commitments and Early Termination
By subscribing to any of our monthly retail maintenance plans, you agree to a 6-month minimum commitment. This commitment ensures that sufficient resources are allocated to perform ongoing baseline diagnostics and compliance monitoring for your platform.
If you choose to cancel your subscription before the end of the initial 6-month term, an Early Termination Fee will apply. This fee is calculated as the remaining months of the commitment multiplied by your standard monthly rate. Following the completion of the initial 6-month term, your subscription will continue on a month-to-month basis and can be cancelled at any time without penalty.
Annual subscriptions are paid upfront and are not subject to a minimum commitment beyond the pre-paid annual term.
2. Agency Partner Responsibilities & CASL Compliance
Agencies participating in the AODA Health Agency Partner Program manage diagnostic services on behalf of their clients. To ensure continuity of accessibility monitoring and transparency for website owners, service-critical notifications must occasionally be sent directly to the site owner.
By enrolling a client into the platform, the Agency warrants that they have secured permission from the client to share their contact information (e.g., email address) with AODA Health for the sole purpose of delivering service-critical notifications. These notifications include, but are not limited to, badge expiry warnings, agency service lapses, and direct complaint reporting.
AODA Health complies with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Notifications sent to site owners are strictly transactional and service-related, except where explicit consent for marketing has been otherwise provided.
3. Platform Usage & Limitations
AODA Health provides a developer-focused diagnostic tool for identifying WCAG and AODA compliance barriers. We are anAI-assisted monitoring and reporting platform, not a certifier, law firm, or accessibility overlay.
We do not guarantee compliance. Our Smart Badge indicates that a site is actively monitored and reviewed against WCAG guidelines, but it is the responsibility of the website owner or their agency to implement necessary code fixes. AODA Health accepts no liability for legal action resulting from non-compliance.
